Honey Designs Jewelry always gives their clients the A-list experience when it comes to popping the question with their custom-design engagement ring. Honey Designs crafts bespoke jewelry heirlooms with a modern twist. The real treat is that Chelsea, the owner, works tightly with her clients from start to finish to craft their stunning rings and also provide them with a dream team to help with their proposal. After designing a vintage-styled ring with a gleaming aubergine-colored stone, Chelsea teamed up with Devin to pull off a perfect-for-her proposal for his girlfriend Brittney.
Chelsea and I arrived early and scattered petals along the cobblestone street outside Lindey’s, a chic Columbus eaterie in the German Village. As Devin and Brittney approached for what she believed to be a simple dinner reservation, we hurriedly approached them with camera in hand. I explained that we had just wrapped up an engagement shoot minutes ago, but still had petals left over and wanted to try one fun photo that I hadn’t had time for. Brittney shrugged and Devin obliged and we put them in place, joking with them about how opportune our timing was.
We staged them back to back and encouraged them to throw petals in the air and turn around for a quick kiss full of movement and fluttering flowers around them. Take a scroll down to see Brittney’s gorgeous smile as she realized that this moment was 100% crafted for her.
