There is something oh so special that surrounds destination weddings. It’s an occasion where family and friends travel both near and far to come together and celebrate not just one day, but oftentimes several days of building new memories, new relationships and deeper bonds with those who make the trip. For Ben and Ramune, Maine brought memories of a fall romance back at Miami University that sparked their lifelong relationship. The national parks and trees reminded them of time spent exploring the pine forests of Ramune’s home country Lithuania and the quaint sea towns were reminiscent of their quaint Philadelphia streets where they now live.
Whether flying over oceans or driving up from the Big Apple, their closest friends and family made the trek to York, Maine to witness their marriage at the Viewpoint Inn and let’s just say it was worth the trip! Just wait till you see the dance pictures where traditional Lithuanian folk dance blended into a dance party they won’t soon forget! Cheers to you two, Ramune and Ben! Congrats and thanks for inviting me in and treating me like family the whole way through, can’t wait for more adventures with you both.
