Engagements
There’s something special that happens during engagement sessions where you get to spend a whole evening with the love of your life feeling oh so fancy as you dress up for it, getting a little flirtatious, exploring new areas and remembering what it is that brought you into such a deep relationship with this person. So grateful that I got to spend the perfect night with these two galavanting around Cleveland, laughing, popping bottles of champagne and watching the sun sink into the horizon together.
Amanda and Alex started their Saturday morning off just right with an adorable engagement session down in historic Covington, KY. This little area of town has everything you could possible want for a quaint urban vibe – cobblestone streets, wrought iron fencing, string lights and gorgeous summer florals…what more could you want?!?
They may have driven through a monsoon to get there, but Emily and Tanner didn’t let the stormy Cincinnati night get them down! This session is full of deep, rich colors brought out by the moody rain and atmosphere and we are totally here for it! Rain will never slow us down so enjoy and take a peek at our giveaway winner’s session at Ault Park.
This session is all about trust. Emily told me over and over again, “I trust wherever you pick for locations, I know you’ll make things beautiful!” When a client empowers me to nail a session and create something special for them, I take that to heart and run with it! I had a blast with these two exploring Cleveland and finding some amazing hidden gems along the way. Destination shoots keep things exciting and always promise amazing results!
Getting to know this amazing couple through our church small group has been a huge joy! We may only see each other on Thursday nights, but their open-hearted kindness, generosity, vulnerability and persistence in pursuing God’s work in their lives is life-giving! Why do one engagement shoot when you can do two!?! That was Paige’s reasoning behind our sessions to capture both casual moments and classy, dreamy ones and I was OBSESSED! Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar. The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.
